Systematic study and anchor to the Word of God

When we study the Word of God, it's not primarily what and how things happened and will happen in the future. Rather it's more about the motives that the Lord has to teach us His messages. So that we are edified and learn to apply the Word in our lives.

For seekers
  • God's big picture; a Bible Overview Course. Materials for each unit: a 10-minute teaching video and a one-hour Bible study. Length 9 weeks, weekly a 2-hour session. On-line using Zoom or in-person meetings.
  • The Hope; a basic course on the Bible and Christianity. Audience: seekers. Materials: DVD's, on-line videos, study worksheets. Length: 10 weeks; 10 sessions of 2 hours.
  • God's Story. Materials: a 77-minute introduction video and 32 topical studies, using a mobile app. Length: 17 weeks if 2 topics are studied in one session.
  • Jesus film. According to the Gospel of Luke. Two hours. Includes 59 worksheets for each of the short episodes.
For young Christians
  • Christianity Explored; a series on the Gospel of Mark. Audience: seekers and young Christians. Materials: video-teaching and worksheets. Length: 10 weeks; 10 sessions of 2 hours.
  • Foundations Course. Materials: video-teaching and worksheets. Length: 12 weeks; 12 sessions of 2 hours and eventually an extra Saturday.
  • Discipleship Explored. The epistle of Philippians. Eight sessions.
  • The book of James. Verse-by-verse study on the epistle of James. Materials: 1 videos by pastor David Guzik, 11 lessons of 2 hours each. We read from two translations, NIV and NKJV. 
For mature Christians
  • The Grace Course; a discipleship course focused of the grace of God. Materials: video-teaching, study worksheets for group discussion. Length: half year; 24 sessions of 2 hours.
  • Freed to Lead Course. Materials: video's and worksheets. Length: 11 weeks; 11 sessions of 2 hours.
  • The Resurrections. Verse-by-verse study on First Corinthians chapter 15. Materials: The Bible, Spotify podcasts and worksheets. Summary of 1 Corinthians 15.
  • The book of Hebrews, a book for discouraged Christians, to remain in the faith. Materials: 29 videos by David Guzik, recorded in 2014, plus questions made by Ed in 2025. Use the NKJV translation.
For Christians with interest in the prophetic Word and Israel
  • End Times. A personal overview of eschatological positions. Materials: PowerPoint. Requirement: Microsoft PowerPoint on your device; showing not perfect on mobile. Audience: mature Christians. It will take two sessions of 3 hours; total 6 hours including Q&A.
  • The book of Daniel. Thirteen sessions. Using the NLT and NKJV translations, using two pastor's teaching video's and worksheets written by Ed.
  • God's promises for Israel. Audience: mature Christians. Materials: Text, video's and worksheets. Length: 6 units; 6-8 lessons of 2 hours.
  • The Spirit of Amalek. A Bible study related to current tensions in the Middle East.
  • Messianic Prophecies. Audience: mature Christians. Length: 30 chapters, 12-15 lessons of 2 hours.
  • Jewish festivals. The seven God-ordained Festivals for the Jewish people. Audience: Christians who are interested in Israel in end-times. One or two evenings.
  • The doctrine of the Rapture; pre-trib, mid-trib, and post-trib. Materials: the Bible, video's and worksheet. Audience: mature Christians. Length: 3-5 sessions of 2 hours.
  • Prophecies about Israel; Audience: mature Christians. Length: 10 lessons, 3-5 sessions of 2 hours.
  • The five Covenants in the Old Testament. Audience: Christians. Materials: One webpage and one online worksheet. Length: two lessons of 2 hours.
For special groups
  • The Chinese Alpha Course. Audience: People speaking/understanding Mandarin Chinese, such as students from China, Taiwan, and Singapore. Materials: Chinese video-teaching plus English transcript. Worksheets. Length: 15 weeks; 15 sessions of 2 hours.
  • Fireproof Marriage Course. Audience: dating couples, married couples who want to refresh their marriage, singles who want to obtain a Biblical view on marriage. Materials: the 2-hour movie Fireproof and study worksheets for personal study and group discussions. Length: 7 weeks; 7 sessions of 2.5 hours.
  • Marriage - God's Design for Intimacy. Eleven lessons of two hours each. Audience: dating couples.

  • neo-Calvinism vs the Bible. Study series on a recent church movement, from a dispensational perspective, using the NASB 1995 translation. neo-Calvinists call themselves evangelicals, but are basically the same old Calvinists of the 16th century, performing in a new style of presentation.
  • Headlines of Christianity. Ed's summary of the Christian faith in 21 chapters.
